The 'Fefe' rapper, who has been charged with six criminal counts after his November arrest, was previously denied bail since the judge in charge believed his freedom poses a threat to society.

AceShowbiz - Tekashi69 (6ix9ine)'s lawyer is putting together a $1.5 million (£1.2 million) bail package in a bid to get the rapper out of jail before his trial next year (19).

The "FEFE" star was arrested and charged with six criminal counts, including conspiracy to murder and racketeering, following his arrest on 18 November, after prosecutors claimed he was linked to the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods gang.

Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, has pleaded not guilty to the charges and a previous bail offer has been rejected, amid concerns his freedom would pose a threat to society.

According to TMZ, Hernandez's lawyer Lance Lazarro is putting together another bail package, which would set his client's bond at $1.5 million, while aiming to assure the judge the rapper is not a danger to society or a flight risk.

Lazzaro is planning to file a motion before the 22-year-old is due back in court next month, January 2019. If his motion is denied, Tekashi69's trial is scheduled to begin in September (19). If convicted at trial, Tekashi could be handed a life sentence, with a minimum of 32 years in prison.
