The former 'Teen Mom 2' star is charged with vehicle tampering and causing injury to personal property after his wife filmed him mowing someone else's truck.

AceShowbiz - David Eason isn't getting away without punishment after illegally towing someone else's truck. The husband of Jenelle Evans has been officially charged with tampering with a vehicle and causing injury to personal property, according to a criminal summons from the Wilmington Police Department.

The summons obtained by Radar Online states that David "unlawfully and willfully" placed a winch cable on victim's vehicle and moved it, "causing damage to the transmission." David is set to appear in court on January 28, 2019. If he does not attend his court hearing, he will be held in contempt of court.

On December 19, the former "Teen Mom 2" star posted on YouTube a video of himself towing a stranger's truck with his own truck because he claimed that the other vehicle was blocking his boat. His wife Jenelle recorded the clip. She was heard laughing and saying in the background, "If you're going to park this close and there's no money in the meter... Pull that motherf**ker out of the way."

David clearly believed he did the right thing, writing in the caption, "Learn the right way to deal will a**holes who think it's cool to block you in a parking space. Good thing my trailer has a folded tongue that allowed me to get my truck out so I can tow him out of the way, in order to move my boat."

The Wilmington Police Department immediately launched an investigation into the incident, which happened on June 13, after they were aware of David's actions, but announced that no charges would be filed as the victim, Terry Hill, initially declined to press charges. However, he later changed his mind. The police announced at the time, "UPDATE: Hill has decided to press charges. An officer is meeting with him to assist in paperwork/taking a report. Once completed, WPD will take appropriate action to charge Eason."
