Having released 'A Legendary Christmas' in October, the husband of Chrissy Teigen further explains why he chose to feature his family in the album photo shoot.

AceShowbiz - John Legend knew "his voice" and "style of music" was the perfect combination to record a Christmas album.
The "All of Me" singer released his first disc of Christmas music, "A Legendary Christmas", in October, with Grammy winner Raphael Saadiq serving as executive producer, and Stevie Wonder playing harmonica in the opening song.
And for John it was a no-brainer, as he admitted in an interview with Heat magazine that he and his family, wife Chrissy Teigen, daughter Luna, two, and seven-month-old son Miles, love Christmas music.
"I love singing with my family for the holidays, I love the memories that it evokes for me, and I feel like my voice and my style of music is really well suited for a Christmas album," he told Heat. "So I felt like if anybody should do one, it should be me,
"They all like it. Chrissy likes hearing it, Luna, too. We all like to dance to it and we all love Christmas music."
For the 39-year-old star, Christmas is a time for family and tradition, as well as his typical musical theme, love. And with the current political climate, John is keen to stay close to the bosom of his loved ones.
"I think we're all unabashedly embracing tradition and the festive spirit, and I think it's why I featured the family in the album photo shoot - it's really all about family and love and music," he smiled. "I do think it's kind of an antidote to what's been happening in politics and just kind of feeling like the world is toxic right now.
"We wanted to spread some joy, spread some love, and - I'm not going to say it's explicitly political - but it will certainly will encourage people to love each other and connect with each other."
