AceShowbiz - Former NSYNC star JC Chasez will reportedly kick off 2019 by celebrating his mother as she becomes the mayor of a city in Florida.
Karen Chasez will be inducted as the Mayor of Debary next week (begins December 31), and reports suggest her singer son will be on hand to witness the swearing-in ceremony.
Sources tell the New York Post's Page Six that the "Bye, Bye, Bye" hitmaker will cut short his appearance at South Beach, Florida's annual Camp Podwall New Year's Weekend event, which runs from December 28 until January 3, 2019, so he can be by his mother's side.
Former business executive Karen was declared the next leader of Debary back in July, when her electoral opponent, Louis Sweet, dropped out of the race.
