Continuing a holiday tradition she started in 2012, the 'Dark Phoenix' actress stops by Norton Children's Hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky during her holiday break.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence returned to Norton Children's Hospital in her native Louisville, Kentucky on Christmas Day (December 25) to continue a holiday tradition she began in 2012.

"The Hunger Games" star visits sick patients at the medical centre every Christmas morning, chatting with fans and posing for photos.

And staff are always thrilled to see the Oscar winner, who donated $2 million (£1.6 million) to her hometown hospital in 2016: "A special thank you to Jennifer Lawrence for visiting Norton Children's Hospital to spread some holiday cheer!" a spokesperson wrote on the hospital's Instagram account, alongside a photo of the special guest.

Jennifer visited the cancer floor and the pediatric intensive care unit and also posed for photos with the staff.
