Recalling the time when she worked with the actor on the 1994 film, the actress says, 'It was hard for me to, like, really be serious.'

AceShowbiz - Sandra Bullock opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her crush on Keanu Reeves. During her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday, December 20, the "Bird Box" star confessed about how she had a hard time keeping herself together when she and Reeves shot 1994's "Speed".

In the episode, Bullock was shown a picture of a scene from "Speed" by Ellen. "I think of how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome he was," a swooned Bullock answered when asked about her co-star. "It was hard for me to like, really be serious. Like, he would look at me and I'd be like [giggles]. And I'd have to try to, you know [be serious]."

"The Lake House" actress then explained more about Keanu's gentleman attitude. "My dress sort of kept flying up - I said, 'Whatever you do, just keep my dress down,' " she said. "The whole stunt he just made sure of my dress. He was very sweet."

Despite her crush on the actor, the "Miss Congeniality" star admitted that they had never dated. "[I] never dated him," she said. "There was something about me I guess he didn't like." When the host suggested that Keanu was "probably intimidated," she disagreed. "Not at all. There's nothing to intimidate," she said. "But I think we're probably friends for that long because we didn't [date]."

Elsewhere on the show, Ellen stated that Bullock deserved more recognition from Warner Bros. after she helped the studio rake in $1 billion with movies such as "Our Brand Is Crisis", "Ocean's 8", "The Blind Side" and "Gravity". The host explained that stars with huge contribution usually were given a tribute by a studio, but the actress wasn't given anything. Thus, Ellen decided to give her a present.

"I gave you a banister," the comedienne said, revealing the banister with "Sandra Bullock" nameplate. Ellen added, "I have to say, that's not our building. So they may take it down."
