Among the three siblings, it's only Jackson Robert Scott who remains to play his character in the previously-made pilot by Hulu.

AceShowbiz - Netflix's "Locke & Key" has finally completed the cast for the Locke siblings. The upcoming series, who was previously developed into a pilot on Hulu before it went to the streaming giant, has tapped British actress Emilia Jones ("Utopia") and Connor Jessup ("American Crime") to play Kinsey and Tyler Locke respectively. Deadline broke the news first.

It was already announced that Netflix, which gave the project a 10-episode order back in July, would recast the main characters. Among the three siblings, it's only Jackson Robert Scott ("It") who remains to play Bode Locke, his character in Hulu's pilot.

Instead of picking up the existing Hulu pilot, the streaming is planning to redevelop the scripts with Aron Eli Coleite and Meredith Averill joining Joe Hill and Carlton Cuse on the show's creative team. Cuse and Averill will also serve as co-showrunners for the show.

Based on a comic book of the same name written by Joe Hill and illustrated by Gabriel Rodriguez, "Locke & Key" is a horror/fantasy series that centers on "three siblings who, after the gruesome murder of their father, move to their ancestral home in Maine only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities." Much to their dismay, a devious demon has set an eye on the keys and will stop at nothing to obtain the keys.

"Locke & Key" has faced a series of struggle of making it to another medium after Dimension Films purchased the rights in 2008. Later in 2010, a TV series was in development on FOX and was even given a series order on the network. However, although the pilot was done produced and screened at 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, the project never went forward. Following in 2014 was a failed film adaptation from producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci with Universal Pictures.

As "It" director Andy Muschietti, who directed the Hulu pilot, is currently working on the movie's sequel, he's not attached in Netflix's take on the comic book adaption. There is no premiere date for "Locke & Key" as of now.
