AceShowbiz - Country couple Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are contemplating taking their plans for a duets project to the stage for a live album at the suggestion of two fans.

The married singers had been preparing to return to the recording studio to work on another full-length collaboration, following their 2016 holiday release "Christmas Together", but a letter from a pair of devotees made them rethink their plans.

"These two girls wrote in to Trisha and I and said, 'Hey, look, I know you guys are gonna do a duet record. Would you ever think about doing a duet concert where the whole night is duets?'," Garth recalled to Variety.

"I'm looking at her (Trisha) going, 'No, wait a minute, let's combine the two ideas. What if we cut a live duet record in front of a live audience? And that's how we do our duet record?'."

Brooks in particular became fascinated by the thought, as it would allow him to show fans how he puts his albums together.

"All of the sudden you have a live greatest hits duet record and people get to watch how a record is made, so you kind of bring the studio to the stage," he shared. "Section it off like you do in a regular studio, cut things live right there in front of people. I think it's an awesome idea, and I think it's probably something we're gonna do."

It's not yet known when Garth and Trisha will set up the special gig, as they each have tour plans in place for 2019, but Brooks has the perfect place in mind to pull off the live concert recording - right at home in Tennessee.

"We're talking about doing it with the Ryman (Auditorium) down here in Nashville," the "Friends in Low Places" hitmaker smiled.
