AceShowbiz - Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra of "Teen Mom OG" pledged their love for each other even when they are on a break. Nearing the end of their 30 days of separation for "self-reflection," Lowell encouraged her husband with a love confession that was echoed back by Baltierra.
On Thursday, December 20, Tyler wrote a poem on Instagram that reflected his feelings. On the comment section, he received encouragement from his wife who wrote, "I love you @TylerBaltierraMTV," she wrote. "You are seriously AMAZING."
He reciprocated her feelings as he replied, "I love you too babe and regardless of what anyone says, just remember... You are BEAUTIFUL. You are STRONG. You are WORTHY. You are SAFE!"
In the said post, Tyler posted a selfie along with a poem that he wrote himself. Calling himself "pitiful," he promoted mental health and encouraged others to prioritize self-happiness in the poem. "So don't put everyone else ahead of the truth," he wrote. "That realizing the most important one is you if you ever want to win...because without a healthy you, you’ll never be any help to anyone in the end."
Earlier this month, the couple decided to temporarily live apart in order to focus on their own mental health. In "Watch With Us" podcast with Us Weekly, Baltierra revealed that they checked into therapy to maintain a healthy relationship. "We say, 'Let's just do 30 days of self-reflection time. You get to focus on you, I get to focus on me. We'll continue to do couples' therapy,' " he said.
He continued, "We've got a great therapist who works really good with us, so [we're] kind of following her advice on top of the separation - just positive terminology here."
Despite temporarily living separately, Tyler revealed that he and Catelynn hung out often. "We've been letting her kind of doing whatever she feels like she needs to do," he said. "Sometimes she'll come hang out with me for a couple hours then she'll have to go home. We still eat dinner together."
