'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' Season 3 and 4 to Start Production Next Year

The two upcoming seasons will also feature newcomers Jedidiah Goodacre and Alexis Denisof who will play Dorian Gray and Adam Masters respectively.

AceShowbiz - Praise satan! As fans of "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" are waiting for the second season to premiere in April next year, Netflix has announced that the supernatural horror series has been renewed for two more seasons following the positive response for its first season.

Similar to the first and second season, the streaming giant has ordered 16 more episodes of the show which will be broken into two parts. Production of the third and fourth season of the teen witch series is set to begin next year, though no exact date has been announced so far.

"Praise Satan! I'm so grateful to my partners at Warner Bros., Netflix, Berlanti Television and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world's most famous teen witch," creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said in a statement on Tuesday, December 18. "And I'm thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina's chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka."

Shipka, along with original cast members that include Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch and Michelle Gomez, will reprise their respective roles in the upcoming seasons. They will be joined by newcomers Jedidiah Goodacre and Alexis Denisof who will play Dorian Gray and Adam Masters respectively. Gray owns a nightclub called Dorian's Gray Room whilst Masters is a returning doctor who is not expecting all the dark magic flowing throughout Greendale.

Originally in development at The CW, "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" tells the story of Sabrina Spellman who must reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal while fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.

The first season premiered on October 26 of this year to positive reviews, while a Christmas special episode was released on December 14. The second season is set to premiere on April 5, 2019 on Netflix.
