After sharing on Twitter that he's hopped a plane to the city to make sure his friend is all right, the rapper is spotted exchanging a friendly hug with the comedian.

AceShowbiz - Machine Gun Kelly cares so much about his friend Pete Davidson. After the comedian posted what appeared to be a suicidal message on Instagram, the "Rap Devil" hitmaker immediately hopped a plane to New York City to make sure that his friend was all right.

"im in the plane now on the way to see Pete. gonna make sure he's good, I promise. can't have my boy in the darkness like that," he tweeted on Saturday night, December 15. Keeping true to his words, the rapper was later seen meeting up with his "Big Time Adolescence" co-star after the latter finished taping "Saturday Night Live".

According to E! News, Pete joined Kelly as well as two other women in a black SUV after the taping. In some photos obtained by the website, the car stopped at the Four Seasons hotel to drop Kelly off. The comedian got out of the vehicle briefly to give Kelly a friendly hug before going on his way. The rest of the group then stopped by an apartment to drop one of the women off.

Pete made a lot of his friends, family and fans worry about his well-being after he penned a harrowing message on Instagram. "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore. I'm doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don't know how much longer I can last," he said. "All I've ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so." He deleted his Instagram account shortly afterward.

Following his concerning post, the New York Police Department sent an officer to "Saturday Night Live" studios in Manhattan to ensure the comedian was present and not in distress. Separately, an NBC staffer called the NYPD to confirm that Davidson was in fact in the building and fine. He made a brief appearance to introduce musical guest Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson.
