The Former 'American Idol' host reveals in an interview that he and his model girlfriend have serious 'food chemistry.'

AceShowbiz - The old saying that "the fastest way to get into a man's heart is through his stomach" apparently holds true for Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor. In a new magazine interview, the "American Idol" host opened up about his love life while his girlfriend admitted that the two of them shared "serious food chemistry."

Echoing the same sentiment, the 43-year-old radio host recalled how he got drawn to the trained chef beyond her beauty. "It was the first time we were together, and she said, 'I make these amazing gluten-free pancakes,' and I said, 'What?! Well, tell me everything!' " he gushed to People magazine, before adding, "That's all it took for me to really fall."

The couple was able to share their love of healthy food beyond the confinement of their home. Taylor, who runs food and wellness blog named "Shayna's Kitchen", has been appearing on "Live with Kelly and Ryan", where Seacrest serves as a co-host, for several times to share recipes and cooking tips.

Food wasn't the only thing that bonded the two of them, though. "For the last six months, we both wake up an hour earlier than we used to so we have time together to work out, take a walk, take our time without having to rush," Seacrest said.

The couple, who broke up for a while in 2014, is now "very in sync," according to Seacrest. "We had both matured," Taylor added. That’s why, they decided to live together in 2017. "Moving to a new city together was fun because we were also having a new chapter together," she continued. "Living together is easy."

As for what they have planned for the future, Seacrest and Taylor are not thinking about wedding or children just yet. "Family is so important to me, and to Shayna as well," Seacrest explained. "But I've always tried to put life into a master schedule with deadlines, and I don't want to do that [with Shayna]." He went on to stress, "We both try to actually be in this moment, feel this connection, enjoy it and let it grow."
