Some fans believe that the 'No Tears Left to Cry' singer is flirting on her dancer ex-boyfriend on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - It hasn't been six months since Ariana Grande ended her engagement with Pete Davidson, but fans already think that she has gotten herself a new boyfriend. Fans of the brunette beauty are convinced she rekindles her romance with Ricky Alvarez after the star praised his new appearance in the comment section of his Instagram post.

The post featured Ricky posing against a city backdrop as he flaunted his new blonde locks. "These colors are sick," Ariana commented on the post. While the comment might seem like a normal response that someone would give to their friends, some Ariana fans believed that she was flirting with the 26-year-old dancer.

"WHATS ABOUT YOU AND ARIANA??? WE ALL WANT TO KNOW," one fan left a comment on the post. Ariana wasted no time to shut down the rumor before it spread even wider, replying, "We're friends everyone take a big ol breather," along with a black heart emoji.

Ricky and Ariana met when he was still her backup dancer. They dated for about a year from 2015 to 2016, though their relationship was more low-key than when she was linked to fellow celebrities. The former couple remains good friends even after their split. In fact, Ariana revealed that the dancer heard her mega hit "Thank U, Next" before it was released to public, and they had a funny Instagram exchange over him getting the "shadiest" line in the song.

He took to Instagram Stories to share a video of him jamming to the song and looking confused as Ariana sang, "Wrote some songs about Ricky/ Now I listen and laugh." She later responded to it by apologizing, "Hahahahahah, I'm sorry you got the worst line @rickyroyaz it was meant v lovingly."

Following the funny video, he shared another post that proved he's all fine with the name drop. "nothing but gratitude. thank u, next," he wrote. "those songs are fire tho... you're welcome."
