Whether it's helping people get out of burning car or saving people who are drowning, these celebrities seemingly don't even care if they are the ones who end up getting hurt.

AceShowbiz - Before Mark Harmon becomes a special agent on "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service", he played a real-life hero when a local man was trapped inside a burning car in front of the star's Brentwood home in 1996. Recalling the moment, Colin Specht noted that Harmon came to his aid by breaking a window open with a sledgehammer and pulling him out of a car. Even though he ended up in hospital for months due to the accident, he was greatly grateful for what the actor did to rescue him.

"I owe everything to him. Everything in my life," he said. "I have no doubt that I would not be alive without his help." He added, "He has more to lose than most people would at that point. He had a wife, children. Not only that, he had the career that was based on his face and his looks." Meanwhile, Harmon himself refused to take credits for his heroic action until today, noting that it was only natural for him to help Specht.
