AceShowbiz - Runway modelling apparently is not always exciting, at least not for Bella Hadid. The model recently shared how the job could turn to be such a dangerous one as she once bled after a zipper cut her flesh open.
During her appearance at a Tag Heuer promotional event in Malaysia on Monday, November 26, she detailed the bloody experience. The host first asked her if she'd ever had a "don't crack under pressure moment." The 22-year-old stunner later shared that she was often put in "stressful situations" while working, that including the one when she walked down a runway while blood was dripping from her side.
"One moment that was painful and stressful was at a fashion show and they were about to push me onto the runway and my dress broke and they had to zip it up," the girlfriend of The Weeknd recalled. "And they were ripping my skin as they were zipping it up. And so the side of my dress was bleeding and I had to hold my dress up like this while I was walking."
Bella added she had to hold her grey blazer to her left side in order to cover it up. Of the zipper, she said, "Oh it was big. It was a tight dress and they kept doing it. It was painful and I still walked and tried not to crack under pressure."
Despite the bloody wardrobe malfuction that forced her to walk while bleeding, the model concluded that it all eventually worked.
Being one of the most in-demand models in the world, it was unsurprising to see her handling the mishap like a pro. The brunette beauty is extremely busy lately as she recently joined sister Gigi Hadid, Behati Prinsloo, Stella Maxwell, Barbara Palvin and Winnie Harlow at the 2018 Victoria's Secret fashion show that took place in Manhattan, New York earlier this month.
Bella rocked an ethereal lacy ensemble with feathered wings before slipping into a black-and-white lingerie number with a cropped bomber jacket. Although she definitely looked stunning while walking down the runway, she admitted backstage that she was nervous ahead of the show.
