The former 'Rob and Chyna' star landed on hot water after her Whitenicious X Blac Chyna Diamond Illuminating & Lightening Cream collaboration was released online

AceShowbiz - Blac Chyna is seemingly attempting to distance herself from a skin lightening cream that gets her in controversy. The reality star, who was slammed for promoting the skin lightening cream, is now said that she never applies the Whitenicious product herself despite being the model.

A source close to Rob Kardashian's ex-fiance claims to TMZ that Chyna takes the product not more than a money-making opportunity. The outlet further states that the mom of two was "offered good money" to promote the cream, which costs $250 a jar, and there was no way for her to turn down the money.

The source goes on revealing that Chyna never uses the bleaching cream. However, she has been using Whitenicious dark spot corrector products for a few years as she's been dealing with her hyperpigmentation.

The former "Rob & Chyna" star landed on hot water after her Whitenicious X Blac Chyna Diamond Illuminating & Lightening Cream collaboration was released online. Doubling down the controversy, the star previously shared an image on Instagram and people started to notice her lighter skin.

"White Chyna, God is it really that bad to be black?" asked one user, while another wrote "No offense but lightning (sic) of your skin does not look good on you. You looked 10 times prettier when you had your beautiful natural skin color."

The serum is sold in a Swarovski crystal-studded jar. The item is being marketed towards both men and women and is used to help with hyper-pigmentation and dark spot corrections.
