The songstress reportedly agrees to perform at the service because she wants to return the favor to Diddy for comforting her when Biggie died in 1997.

AceShowbiz - Kim Porter will be laid to rest in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia on Saturday, November 24, a little more than a week after her death. As the funeral is approaching closer, new details surrounding the service have found its way online. Words are, the funeral will include a live performance by the late model's friend Faith Evans.

According to TMZ, which first broke the news, Evans agreed to perform at the service because Sean "P. Diddy" Combs was "a huge source of comfort" when Notorious B.I.G. a.k.a. Biggie died in 1997. Thus, she would like to return the favor this time. Mary J. Blige is also expected to attend the funeral, though she is not scheduled to perform.

It's currently unknown whether Diddy will deliver a rendition as well, but it's revealed that he would like to deliver a eulogy at the funeral. Due to the suddenness of his late ex-girlfriend's death though, the rapper might be too devastated to give the important speech.

Meanwhile, her casket will reportedly arrive in a horse-drawn carriage because horses were Porter's favorite animal.

Porter, who shares three children with Diddy, was found unresponsive in her home in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. She was later pronounced dead at 11:40 A.M. local time. The Los Angeles Police Department said that no foul play was suspected regarding her death. She was immediately brought for an autopsy to establish her cause of death, though police have yet to determine it.

"On Nov. 16, an autopsy was performed on Porter," a spokesperson for the L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner's office said. "The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests. Porter's body has since been released from our facility."

Previous report suggested that her health status was described as a cardiac arrest in an emergency dispatch call. Source also revealed that the 47-year-old was battling pneumonia for some time.
