Sony Pictures has set release dates for two Marvel movies which titles are yet to be disclosed.

AceShowbiz - Sony Pictures has lined up two Marvel movies for 2020 releases. According to Variety's reporter Justin Kroll, the studio has set July 10, 2020 as a release date for a non-sequel movie and October 2, 2020 for the opening date of a sequel.

Taking to his Twitter page to reveal the release dates, Kroll includes his prediction about which movies that are going to be unleashed on those two dates. He writes, "My guesses are MORBIUS for July date and Venom sequel for October."

Aaron Couch, editor of The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision Blog, shares the same info on his own Twitter account with the same guess about "Venom 2" release date. "One of these is #Venom2, right? Sony has dated two untitled Marvel movies: 7-10-20 and 10-2-20," he tweets.

Sony has not confirmed the speculation. Some fans are pointing out that the July release date is possibly for "Kraven The Hunter", which is based on one of Spider-Man's frequent enemies. The project has a script currently being written by "The Equalizer 2" screenwriter Richard Wenk, with Antoine Fuqua eyed reportedly eyed to direct the adaptation.

"Morbius", however, is likely to arrive earlier than "Kraven The Hunter" as it is already in production, with Jared Leto taking the title role. The "Suicide Squad" actor recently teased his transformation for the upcoming movie by sharing a shaving video. "Safe House" helmer Daniel Espinosa is on board as director.

Meanwhile, despite the box office success of "Venom (2018)" starring Tom Hardy, the studio has not officially greenlit a sequel.
