Reasoning that the 'FEFE' hitmaker is being held with 'extremely dangerous' inmates, Lance Lazzaro plans to appeal the ruling in which a judge deemed the rapper's freedom poses a threat to society.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Tekashi69's lawyer has filed for an emergency hearing after his client was denied bail following his indictment on six federal charges.

The "FEFE" hitmaker, aka 6ix9ine, is holed up in a rough Brooklyn jailhouse, according to his lawyer - and it appears he'll be there for at least another day after U.S. Magistrate Judge Henry Pitmaneven insisted he should remain behind bars, despite the offer of $1.5 million (£1.2 million) from his lawyer.

Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, and three associates were arrested on Sunday night (November 18) and charged with counts of racketeering, firearms, assault with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to murder.

Prosecutors claim the trio is linked to the notorious Nine Trey Gangster Bloods gang, and Tekashi is now facing a life sentence and a minimum of 32 years behind bars if convicted.

Refusing bail, the judge ruled that 6ix9ine's freedom poses a threat to society.

Lazzaro is planning to appeal the ruling and secure bail for his client during an emergency hearing on Wednesday, November 21.

Meanwhile, the rap star is getting a taste of what prison life might be like in among the general population at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.

His lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, tells TMZ the rapper is not being held in a segregated part of the prison, despite his celebrity status, and he's mingling with inmates that are "extremely dangerous, violent, or escape-prone."
