AceShowbiz - "The Bachelor" alums Vanessa Grimaldi and Peter Kraus recently sparked romance rumors after the two looked pretty comfortable in a recent painting event. Bachelor Nations appeared to be supportive should they were more than friends, but how did Vanessa's ex-fiance Nick Viall take the news?
Although Nick has really moved on from Vanessa after the split, the rumors did shock him. "Nick has really moved on from Vanessa but seeing the photo of ex-fiance' Vanessa that Peter posted did jolt him a bit," a source tells HollywoodLife.com.
The source continues, "Though Vanessa and Peter are not dating and are just friends, still to see that took him back a bit." The rumors seemingly is a reality check for Nick. "Vanessa ended things with him and it was just another reminder of that," the source adds.
33-year-old Peter took to the photo-sharing site to share a snap of him and his fellow "Bachelor" alum Vanessa at the event he called "paint night." He playfully wrote on the caption, "Get invited out to paint night, get hated on for trying too hard #hatorad."
In the photo, Peter could be seen holding his work. Standing next to him was Vanessa, who playfully tried to cover Peter's paintings with her free hand as the other one was holding her own work. Going along with Vanessa's game, Peter was seen jokingly throwing a judging expression at her.
Also featured in the snap was "Bachelor in Paradise" cast member Taylor Nolan, who joined them at the painting festivities. The trio seemingly have been touring the city of Seattle as they have been sharing a slew of photos and videos on social media.
Vanessa and Nick dated after Nick proposed to the Canada native in the finale of his season of "The Bachelor". Their relationship didn't last long though, as they announced their split after being engaged for nine months.
