Steve's wife Nancy and his two kids are apparently ganging up with Ed Helms, Ellie Kemper and Jenna Johnson to convince the 'Beautiful Boy' actor to do the reboot.

AceShowbiz - Steve Carell served as the November 17 episode's host on "Saturday Night Live". And almost unsurprisingly, his monologue transformed into a "The Office" as some of his co-stars made a cameo with one clear agenda: getting him to do a "The Office" reboot.
The third-time host was in the middle of opening his monologue when an audience member interrupted him to ask, "Will you ever reboot 'The Office'?" Responding to the question, the "Beautiful Boy" actor said, "Actually, I don't think so. It's a great experience, I love all of those people but I just don't think it's the best idea. I think maybe we should just leave it alone."
Then, Ellie Kemper, who played Erin on the popular NBC comedy, popped up among the audience and started to convince the actor to do a reboot. "Hi! People would really love to seen an 'Office' reboot. I mean, especially me 'cause I need that money," he told Steve, adding, "Let's get that money, Steve!" When Steve told her that it wasn't a good idea, Ellie told him off. "You're a jerk!" she said while being visibly upset.
Of course, Ellie wasn't the only "The Office" alum to appear in the episode. Ed Helms (Andy) also made a cameo, explaining, "I just don't think you understand how much money we're talking about. You wouldn't have do those sad movies anymore." But Steve still stood by his opinion as he suggested a party, where they could catch up and all, in leau of reboot. "We already do that. We just don't invite you," Ed said.
Pam was also there! Jenna Fisher took her shoot at persuading Steve. "Do you remember the last words that Pam secretly whispered to Michael as she left for Danver? She said, 'Steve, don't be a d**k. Do the reboot!' " His wife Nancy and his two kids were apparently ganging up with the stars to make him do the reboot. "We think you should probably do the show," she said. Steve insisted though, saying that he wanted to spend more time with them. Guess what? "Well, we don't really need you to hang around anymore. Right, kids? We're good," Nancy said, before leaving her seat and exiting the studio.
Before concluding his monologue, Steve invited his "The Office" co-stars to join him onstage. "Alright! I'm so proud to announce officially that we'll have a great show tonight!" he exclaimed.
That night's cold open featured "SNL" cast member Kate McKinnon revisiting Laura Ingraham, ontroversial right-wing host of the barely sponsored "The Ingraham Angle". Joined by Jeanine Pirro (Cecily Strong), Mark Zuckerberg (Alex Moffat), Marcia Fudge (Leslie Jones) and Vape God (Pete Davidson), they discussed the rampant voter fraud, saying that all Latinos had voted twice. "You can't dismiss that idea simply because it isn’t true and sounds insane," Ingraham said.
The episode also tackled Thanksgiving in a skit named "Space Thanksgiving". The skit saw alien celebrating the holiday by serving the Earthlings purple ears of corn named kern.
For the Weekend Update, anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che talked about new kids cereal named Sour Patch. "Post Cereal has announced that they'll be making a new Sour Patch Kids-flavored cereal. It's a great way to start the morning off on the right foot -- because the left foot was taken by diabetes," Colin said.
Michael, meanwhile, revealed that Ruby Chocolate was his drag name.
