The British singer suggests that his 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' collaborator was indeed travelling in a suitcase.

AceShowbiz - Remember the report which said that Taylor Swift was smuggled out of her apartment in a suitcase? Well, that could be true. In an interview with Vogue U.K., Zayn Malik seemingly confirmed the wild suitcase theory.

During the interview, the 25-year-old singer talked about his "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" collaborator staying away from the spotlight before releasing her sixth album "Reputation" and how she would avoid the paparazzi. "She was traveling around in a suitcase," the former One Direction member casually said.

Back in July 2017, paparazzi took pictures of two security guards carrying a massive suitcase out of Taylor's New York City apartment into her truck. It was believed that the "Look Was You Made Me Do" songstress was being carried in that suitcase because it looked very heavy and the security guards handled it with such care.

Splash News, which published the photo along with the story, later retracted the statement after the news went viral.

While Taylor has never confirmed the rumor which said she was being transported in the unconventional way, the 28-year-old singer has previously opened up about why she took great lengths, including hiding behind three umbrellas, walking backwards and walking behind a restaurant tablecloth, to keep her privacy.

"Oh my God yes anxiety dreams, and also my reality, even when I'm not dreaming, is peppered with lots of anxiety," she told Capital FM in 2014, "There's a dream that, any time I'm 'paparazzi'd' out, which is a lot, I have dreams that night that they're in my room taking pictures of me while I'm sleeping! So I'll find myself smiling in my sleep, because I think there are people in my room taking pictures of me. Not smiling because I'm happy, smiling because I think people are taking pictures of me!"
