Having been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment for assaulting Andrea Constand, the former star of 'The Cosby Show' will see himself back in court for Judy Huth's 2014 civil lawsuit.

AceShowbiz - Imprisoned comedian Bill Cosby is scheduled to stand trial in October 2019 over an alleged assault at the Playboy Mansion in 1974.

Judy Huth filed a civil lawsuit against the former star of "The Cosby Show" in December 2014 in which she alleged the comedian got her drunk and molested her in one of the rooms in the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles in 1974, when she was 15 years old.

Cosby, now 81, responded by filing a suit against her in which he called her a liar who was trying to extort him, and asked for her case to be dismissed, but his request was denied and he underwent a seven-hour deposition session as part of the case.

At a hearing in Santa Monica, California on Tuesday, November 13, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Craig Kaplan set the trial for October 7, 2019, according to Deadline.

The trial was reportedly due to begin this December but it was pushed back by 10 months to accommodate the court calendar and Cosby's changed circumstances.

The new trial will begin just over a year into Cosby's three to 10-year prison stint, a sentence he was dealt after being found guilty in September on three counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and assaulting former Temple University staff member Andrea Constand in 2004.

"Judgement day finally came for Bill Cosby in the criminal case," Huth's lawyer Gloria Allred told Deadline after the hearing. "He was convicted of three felonies and was classified as a sexually violent predator.

"Now it is time for justice in the civil case for our client, Judy Huth who alleges in her lawsuit that she became the victim of child sexual abuse by Mr. Cosby at the Playboy mansion. We are happy that the court set a trial date of Oct 7, 2019 in our civil case against Mr. Cosby. While he is sitting in prison, he will have to be concerned that he will not be able to avoid facing a civil jury and judgement day in Santa Monica in Ms. Huth's case."

Cosby's lawyers launched an appeal to overturn the conviction in the Constand case, but their request for a retrial was rejected.
