The trailer hints that it's not only Oliver and Barry's powers that have changed in the upcoming TV crossover.

AceShowbiz - The CW has released the first teaser trailer of its upcoming Arrowverse TV crossover titled "Elseworlds". The 20-second footage sees how things are in Elseworlds as well as features an unexpected pairing.

It opens with Stephen Amell's Oliver waking up naked in an unfamiliar place. Further making things confusing, he finds a photo of him with Candice Patton's Iris on the nightstand. Iris then comes out, greeting him with a quick peck on his lips. Flustered, Oliver--apparently Barry now--is seen accepting the kiss with his eyes wide-opened.

"Babe, are you okay? What's wrong?" Iris asks as she may notice something has changed on Barry. Before the teaser trailer ends, Iris can be seen looking at him so lovingly while saying, "I love you, Barry Allen."

It has been widely known by fans that this year's crossover will see Oliver and Barry switching their suits. Stephen had been snapped in The Flash red costume, while Grant Gustin was donning Arrow's green hood. The trailer hints that it's not only their powers that have changed, but also the whole universe as they appear to switch identities and lifes.

"Elseworlds" will star Ruby Rose as Batwoman/Kate Kane, Tyler Hoechlin as Superman/Clark Kent, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane and Jeremy Davies as Arkham Asylum doctor named John Deegan. Also joining them in the 3-night event are LaMonica Garrett as Mar Novu a.k.a. The Monitor and Cassandra Jean Amell as Mr. Freeze's wife Nora.

The crossover is expected to bring fans to an alternate universe. In the comics, Elseworlds was a DC Comics imprint for stories that take place outside of regular continuity. However, it remains to be seen how the crossover is going to pay homage to its name.

This year's crossover is set to begin on Sunday, December 9 with "The Flash" at 8 P.M. It will later be followed by an "Arrow" episode on Monday, December 10 at 8 P.M. "Supergirl" will conclude on the following night at 8 P.M. on The CW.
