More details of the characters have also found their way out online, with Tyler Hoechlin hinting at a 'deeper' relationship.

AceShowbiz - Fans finally get the first look at Elizabeth Tulloch's take on Lois Lane for the upcoming annual Arrowverse TV crossover titled "Elsewhere". Coming via Tyler Hoechlin's Instagram account, the photo sees Tyler's Superman snuggling up to "his better half."

In the dreamy photo, Clark Kent is featured in his full costume. Meanwhile, the award-winning journalist for the Metropolis newspaper, the Daily Planet, stuns in a white dress. "First look! Superman and his better half, Miss Lois Lane.. Catch them on the crossover event this December!" Tyler captions the snap.

In addition to the photo, fans are also given some new details about the characters in the upcoming TV event featuring Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash. TV Insider shares that in "Elseworlds", Clark and Lois "obviously have a very strong relationship that's been going like that for a while."

Tyler further details, "It's deeper into the relationship, so there's that comfortability factor and they know each other so well. They really kind of have a life together."

It's has been widely assumed by fans that "Elseworlds" will bring fans to an alternate universe as set photos have been indicating that Stephen Amell's Oliver and Grant Gustin's Barry somehow switch their identities. In the comics, Elseworlds was a DC Comics imprint for stories that take place outside of regular continuity. However, it remains to be seen how the crossover is going to pay homage to its name.

Also joining the crossover are Batwoman (Ruby Rose), a doctor at Arkham Asylum named Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davie) and Nora Fries (Cassandra Jean Amell). John Wesley Shipp, who played the Scarlet Speedster on the 90s series, is also set to make appearance.

This year's crossover is set to begin on Sunday, December 9 with "The Flash" at 8 P.M. It will later be followed by an "Arrow" episode on Monday, December 10 at 8 P.M. "Supergirl" will conclude on the following night at 8 P.M. on The CW.
