AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian is safe after fleeing her Calabasas, California home amid the threat of California wildfires. On Friday afternoon, November 9, the reality TV star updated her Twitter account to assure fans that her family is in a better place now despite the dire situation.
She shared a snap of her snuggling with her niece, Khloe Kardashian's daughter True Thompson, and wrote in the caption, "Trying to get my mind off of this fire and snuggling with my niece. We are all safe and that's all that matters."
She also tweeted that flames had hit her and Kanye West's property, but they have been contained. "I heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now are more contained and have stopped at the moment," she shared. "It doesn't seems like it is getting worse right now, I just pray the winds are in our favor. God is good. I'm just praying everyone is safe."
Thanking firefighters who have been hard at work to contain the blazes, she added, "Fire Fighters, I love you and thank you for doing all that you can to keep us safe!"
Meanwhile, Kim's sister Khloe wrote, "I can not sleep! I am too nervous with these fires #MamaKoKo."
Thousands of residents were forced to evacuate, including Lady GaGa, Alyssa Milano, Mark Hamill and Caitlyn Jenner, due to the looming threat posed by the raging Woolsey Fire. The "A Star Is Born" actress posted on Instagram Stories clips of her evacuating her home.
Alyssa wrote on Twitter, "I just had to evacuate my home from the fires. I took my kids, dogs, computer and my Doc Marten boots. (Husband is in NY. Horses are being evacuated by my trainer.)"

Kim's former step-father Caitlyn Jenner, meanwhile, was not so lucky. TMZ reported that her home in the Malibu hills was destroyed by the Woosley wildfire on Friday. The transgender advocate, however, has evacuated her pad before it caught the flames.
