The 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star has to ride a scooter when shopping in Target because 'the excruciating pain of a C section' prevents her from walking for the next few weeks.

AceShowbiz - While Kenya Moore is possibly on clouds No. 9 now after becoming a mother for the first time, that doesn't stop the fact that she's going through a painful recovery process after welcoming her daughter through a C-section. The 47-year-old just took to Instagram to reveal that she's still not able to walk because of "the excruciating pain of a C section."

The star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", however, didn't let the pain hinder her from doing her regular activities. In a short video she posted on her social media account, the new mom was seen using a scooter to run errands at Target.

In the caption which she hastagged with "realVsReality," Kenya wrote, "#brooklyndaly came early and the reality is it will take weeks for me to be able to walk without the excruciating pain of a C section and to heal from the multiple cuts to my uterus." She added, "Needed to get her some preemie items so of course, off to @target we went. My aunt Lisa is so afraid! I'm supposed to be in bed."

Some of her followers are also concerned about her, urging her to take some time to heal from the C-section surgery. "Please stay in bed. Although it doesn't seem like it but even riding around your body needs rest. You don't want an abscess or other complications. Rest lady," one advised her.

Another added, "A mother's job is never done.... a c section was super hard to recover from.... kudos to you but please take it easy. Between the stitching... or staples.... and the moving around... take your time."

Kenya and her businessman husband Marc Daly welcomed their daughter early, on November 4, via an emergency Caesarean section. The 47-year-old reality TV star shared the news on Instagram, revealing the little girl's name which is Brooklyn Doris Daly.

"#BrooklynDorisDaly is here! Thank you @people for sharing our journey," she excitedly wrote. "She's so perfect and strong! Marc was incredible in the deliver room. I lost a lot of blood so I'm very weak but they both were strong for me. God is so good. We are blessed and doing well. My heart is so full at the abundance of love for our family! We love you all."

Kenya and Marc got married in Saint Lucia in June 2017, and they began in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment at a clinic in Barbados later that year. The former Miss USA announced her pregnancy in April. She had preeclampsia during her pregnancy, a complication that caused her to gain "17 lbs. in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine."
