The 'Beautiful Boy' actor's hosting gig will arrive in the upcoming November 17 episode, in which Ella Mai serves as musical guest.

AceShowbiz - Michael Scott is making his way to "Saturday Night Live". Steve Carell, who is best known for his portrayal of Michael on "The Office", has been tapped to return to the NBC comedy show as a host. Ella Mai is set to provide the music.

The "Beautiful Boy" actor's hosting gig will arrive in the upcoming November 17 episode. It marks the third time for him hosting the show. Steve hosted the show in October 2005 and May 2008. He also made an appearance alongside his "Anchorman" co-stars during a Paul Rudd-hosted episode back in 2013.

Steve's latest movie is "Beautiful Boy", which also features Timothee Chalamet. He will also appear in the upcoming Robert Zemeckis film "Welcome to Marwen" that is set to his U.S. theaters on December 21. Additionally, the actor will play Donald Rumsfeld in Adam McKay's "Vice" alongside Christian Bale as Dick Cheney.

While Steve is no stranger to "SNL", the upcoming broadcast will be Ella's first appearance on the show. The singer/songwriter recently dropped her self-titled debut album. The new collection includes the multi-platinum hit singles "Boo'd Up" and "Trip".

Prior to Steve taking the stage to host, Liev Schreiber is set to make his "SNL" hosting debut on November 10 with musical guest Lil Wayne.
