The fourth and final 'Origins' single is inspired by the struggles that the frontman has to go through after his divorce from Aja Volkman.

AceShowbiz - Days before releasing their album "Origins", Imagine Dragons has unearthed the fourth and final single off the much-anticipated record. Titled "Bad Liar", the track was made available for your listening pleasure on Tuesday, November 6.

Produced by Jorgen Odegard, the almost four-minute-and-a-half song is inspired by frontman Dan Reynolds' tough year following his divorce from Aja Volkman, though the pair eventually get back together before signing their divorce paper. His singer wife additionally provided backing vocals on the song.

"Oh, hush, my dear, it's been a difficult year/ And terrors don't prey on innocent victims/ Trust me, darlin', trust me darlin'," he opens the song over elasticy riff. "It's been a loveless year/ I'm a man of three fears/ Integrity, faith and crocodile tears."

In an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1, Dan revealed that he wrote the song with Aja when they were contemplating breaking up. "I went through a divorce, but never signed the papers. I've been home and we kind of decided, well, let's just hold off for a minute." He continued, "As we were writing it, we knew what it was about, but we also kind of didn't speak about what it was about."

Also featuring "Natural", "Machine" and "Ralph Breaks the Internet" soundtrack "Zero", "Origins" is set to hit the stores on Friday, November 9. The album is conceived as a sister album to Imagine Dragons' third album "Evolve". Dan said of the record in a statement, "It's about seeking new ground but also appreciating your root. When we create, we create with no boundaries, no rules. We find it thrilling to make music that feels different and new to us."

Ahead of the album's release, the four-piece band will hold a pop-up performance titled "The Origins Experience" in Las Vegas on November 7. Fans are invited to register on the band's official website for a chance to attend the show.
