In order to make sure her children are in 'positive environment' whenever they hang with their dad and his girlfriend, the reality star invites the couple for a 'quick, tense' dinner.

AceShowbiz - Scott Disick and Sofia Richie's recent fight in Australia apparently has sparked concern for Kourtney Kardashian, to the point that she feels the need to invite them for dinner. The three were recently captured on camera dining at hotspot Nobu in Malibu, Los Angeles.
The mother of three reportedly arrived by herself, while her baby daddy and his current girlfriend arrived together. A source tells PEOPLE that they only dined for a short time and looked tense during meal. "It seemed a bit tense. It wasn't like they are all friends and were hanging out for fun. It looked more like a business dinner," the source said.
As for the reason why Kourt invited them for a dinner, it was all for their children as they often spend time together with Scott and Sofia when she isn't around. A second insider noted that the eldest Kardashian sister actually didn't really want to get to know Sofia if it wasn't for her children's sake.
"Sofia spends time with Kourtney's kids, so Kourtney wants to make sure they are all on the same page," said the insider. "Scott and Sofia tend to get into arguments. Kourtney wants to make sure the kids are in a positive environment when they are at Scott's house. She is setting up rules for how things needed to be when the kids are with Scott."
While the first source said that the dinner was tense, another source claimed that it was "very amicable." The so-called insider told E! News, "Scott and Kourtney both agreed it is better to get the elephant out of the room and for them to all be in each other's lives in order to make things flow easiest for the sake of the kids."
Prior to their dinner, Sofia was photographed crying while arguing with Scott when they attended Derby Day at the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Australia. It remains to be seen what caused the fight.
