Revealing that his son Spike is obsessed with the spy character, the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' actor spills to Alec Baldwin which ideas have come from the 7-year-old boy.

AceShowbiz - Mike Myers' young son may have saved the "Austin Powers" franchise.

The funnyman reveals his seven year old, Spike, is a huge fan of dad's three "Austin Powers" movies and he wants him to make a fourth.

And the kid has actually been slipping Myers a few good ideas.

"I was reading to him...and he was falling asleep, and I said, 'Alright Spike, switch off the light', and he goes, 'Will you stay for five minutes...' and then a few minutes in, he goes, 'Dada, are you gonna do another Austin Powers?' I said, 'Maybe', and he goes, 'OK'," Mike told Alec Baldwin during a recent appearance on his Sunday night chat show.

"He falls asleep... (and then), 'Dada, is it gonna be from Dr. Evil's perspective this time?' I said, 'I think so'... and then it's, 'Dada, what's Dr. Evil's lair gonna be?' I said, 'An oil rig...' Then he said, 'It should be the sewers'. And I'm thinking, 'That is a great idea.' "

"He is obsessed with Austin Powers... and he has an Austin Powers costume that he'll wear out of the house and stuff. We were at out summer place and it was raining and we were under an awning outside... and he said, 'Dada, can I tell you a secret...?' and he whispered in my ear, 'I'm your biggest fan'."

Myers, who last stepped out as groovy British spy Powers in "Austin Powers in Goldmember" back in 2002, told Baldwin in his first aired interview show since his arrest last week (November 02) following a bust-up over a parking spot he was a big fan of fatherhood.

"This is the happiest time in my life...," the funnyman said. "I thought I would like having kids, but I didn't know I was gonna love it this much."

Myers and his second wife Kelly Tisdale are parents to three kids, all born in the last 12 years.
