His latest release, 'WRLD on Drugs', debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 in addition to arriving atop Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

AceShowbiz - Whether he released an album as a solo artist or collaborated with another musician, Future's music has always found its spot on listeners' heart. After collaborating with Young Thug on the critically acclaim "Super Slimey", the Atlanta rapper paired up with Juice WRLD for joint mixtape "WRLD on Drugs", and the result was pretty much the same with its predecessor.
Just like "Super Slimey", the mixtape also debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 with 98.000 equivalent album units, marking his tenth top 10 album on the chart. In addition to that, the set debuted atop Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, becoming his eighth No. 1 album on the tally.
Besides its commercial success, the album receives positive reviews from music critics. Daniel Spielberg of HipHop DX noted that the set "showcases some genuine chemistry between the seemingly random duo and illustrates a cohesive vision," while XXL Magazine called it "full of amazing melodies and earworm production that buckles under the weight of its subject matter."
Prior to releasing "WRLD on Drugs", Future actually had other two projects that he released this year. The first one was "Beast Mode 2", the continuation to "Beast Mode", that was released on July 6 for streaming and digital download. It debuted at No. 3 on Billboard 200 with 73.5 million streams of its songs, granting it the highest-charting streaming-exclusive album on the chart.
The second one was the soundtrack album to "Superfly", which he also produced. Featured "No Shame" as the only single off the album, the set debuted at No. 25 on Billboard 200 with 17 million streams of its songs.
Now that he has released three albums merely within a year, Future is now preparing for his joint tour with Nicki Minaj. The European leg of the tour will kick off on February 21, 2019 in Munich, Germany and conclude on March 28 in Geneva, Switzerland. He won't be joining the North American leg of the trek due to scheduling conflicts.
