AceShowbiz - Former Miss USA Kenya Moore has become a mother for the first time.

The beauty queen-turned-reality TV star welcomed a daughter named Brooklyn Doris via an emergency Caesarean section on Sunday, November 4. The tot is her first with her businessman husband Marc Daly.

Explaining the reason behind their child's name, the new mum tells People.com, "Brooklyn because that's where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me."

Kenya, 47, wed Marc in Saint Lucia in June 2017, and they began in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment at a clinic in Barbados later that year.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star announced her pregnancy news in April.
