The comedian made a joke about their breakup in the new promo for 'Saturday Night Live' new episode, and the singer apparently didn't take it too well.

AceShowbiz - Uh, oh. Things are seemingly not looking good between Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson. The latter recently made another joke about split in a "Saturday Night Live" promo, and the former Nickelodeon star apparently didn't take it too well.

Pete joined host Jonah Hill and musical guest Maggie Rogers in the new promo when he managed to slip in a joke about the former couple's headline-grabbing breakup. Even though he didn't go as far as getting down on one knee, he casually proposed to Maggie by saying, "Hey Maggie, I'm Pete. You wanna get married?" So, what was her answer to this?

Unfortunately, Maggie firmly refused. "No," she said, to which the comedian sadly responded, "0 for 3."

And it appears Ariana didn't take the joke too well because once the clip made its way out, she took to Twitter to seemingly call out her ex-fiance. "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh," she tweeted, before adding in another, "thank u, next."

Even though she didn't name names when she posted the tweet, her reply to a fan's post appeared to answer that her previous tweet was directed at Pete. "tag yourself i'm maggie," so the said fan wrote on the micro-blogging, to which Ariana simply replied with a dot.

Ariana and Pete called off their engagement early last month after a whirlwind romance. Both of them have been laying low since the split, with the "God Is a Woman" singer covering some of her tattoos that were inspired by their relationship. Recently, she covered a "Reborn" tattoo that she got with Pete over the summer with an ink of what appeared to be a feather. In addition, she used a Band-Aid to cover up the "Pete" tattoo on her finger.
