The outspoken rapper takes to Twitter to declare that he will be distancing himself from politics after realizing that he's been used for political gain.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West, an outspoken supporter of Republicans, has had enough of political stuff, so he's leaving all of that behind. The controversial rapper took to Twitter on Tuesday, October 30 to declare that he had decided to back away from politics after realizing that he'd been used for political gain.

"My eyes are now wide open and now realize I've been used to spread messages I don't believe in," he said, before sharing that he would only focus on working on his upcoming album. "I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!"

In another tweet, Kanye denied that he designed the shirt for Blexit campaign, which encourages African-Americans to leave the Democratic Party. He said he only introduced Candace Owens to people who created the logo, and that was it. "I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn't want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it," he wrote.

The design of the shirts debuted at the Young Black Leadership Summit in Washington D.C. last week. At the time, Candace declared that the "Stronger" rapper was the one behind the design, heaping praises for him, "[Kanye] has taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have needed to have."

Now that Kanye declared that he had been used for political gains, does it mean he will no longer supporting Donald Trump? It doesn't seem so as the Yeezy founder told TMZ right after the tweet to clarify that he was referencing to the Blexit campaign when he said he was being "used." He also noted that he didn't mention POTUS' name at all in his tweets, which probably meant he's still supporting him, though he won't show it off in public again.
