One scene features the songstress getting pushed against the wall by her boyfriend after she catches him stealing her money.

AceShowbiz - Fans are already convinced that Halsey is singing about G-Eazy in "Without Me" when she first dropped the song earlier this month. And now the songstress is seemingly fueling the speculation by enlisting an Eazy look-alike for the song's music video.

Making its way out on October 29, the almost four-minute clip chronicles a couple's toxic relationship. It starts off with Halsey rubbing the back of her boyfriend as he throws up in the toilet, before she takes viewers to flashback scenes of their sweet moments together.

But all of that comes crashing down after a confrontation over money. Halsey catches her boyfriend stealing money from her, prompting him to get defensive and push her against the wall as he yells at her. Feeling frustrated because she can't do anything, she breaks down in tears while watching the man leave.

Things turn out to be good for her at the end though, as her abusive boyfriend ends up getting arrested by the police.

In an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1, Halsey revealed that the song was a particularly personal song for her, though she didn't confirm whom the song was about. "I think that's what I'm kind of getting at is that it's like it's not protected by some character or some subplot," she said of the song.

She continued, "It's like this is really me talking about my life. It kind of gave me like an existential crisis as an artist a little bit, but I've prided myself on being an artist who's authentic and writes about her life and all that stuff. And then when I made this and I felt just how bad it hurt."

"Without Me" marks her first solo track since releasing "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom" last year. She wrapped up the tour in support of the album back in April.
