Kelly's lawyer reportedly is attempting to get the disgraced host a reported $69 million as she still has 1 year left after she signed on a three-year deal with the network.

AceShowbiz - Multiple reports have been suggesting that Megyn Kelly and NBC are currently discussing her exit from "Today" following backlash over her Halloween blackface comments. It's said that the two sides are facing some issues while trying to reach an agreement.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the talks between the network and Megyn's lawyer slowed somewhat over the weekend, but ramped up again on Monday, October 29. The site reports that both sides are grappling over money and a non-disclosure and non-disparagement clause. Megyn allegedly is resisting an NDA.

NDAs are pretty much normal to do in exit agreements, but such clauses recently have been garnering backlash following the #MeToo movement.

In addition, Kelly's lawyer is attempting to get the host a reported $69 million. The host of the 9 A.M. hour of "Today" show has 1 year left after she signed on a three-year deal with the network.

Another source claims to PEOPLE, "Conversations have begun about her exit from the network. She's not sticking around NBC News. It’s unclear when there will be a definitive announcement."

NBC has tapped new faces to take over Megyn's slot on the morning talk show. On Monday morning, viewers were greeted by Craig Melvin, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker in the third hours of "Today".

Hoda opened the segment by addressing how the show planned to move forward without Megyn. "Today, as you know, we are starting a new chapter in the third hour of our show as it evolves," she explained. "We want you to know that the entire 'Today' family will continue to bring you informative and important stories, just as we always have."

It's reported that "Today" anchors will take turns hosting the 9 A.M. hour until NBC finds a permanent replacement for Megyn. Rumor has it, the network is eyeing Kelly Clarkson as the new host for Megyn's slot.

The network's executives allegedly "think it might be perfect time to give her Today time slot to Kelly, who has a huge fan base and is extremely well-liked and relatable," claimed a source.

The network apparently had made a move as another source revealed it has "approached" Kelly for the gig. As for the singer, she's reportedly "willing to take on any job thrown her way. "Kelly is the most non-biased person on the planet, and does not have an ounce of racism in her," a third source said of "The Voice" coach.
