The Dr. Jo Karev of the ABC medical drama opens up in recent interview that she loves the idea of Izzie Stevens making a comeback because it will bring 'a little bit of drama' to the show.

AceShowbiz - Camilla Luddington is excited about the idea of Katherine Heigl returning to "Grey's Anatomy".

The actress quit the medical drama after season six amid reports suggesting she and creator Shonda Rhimes had fallen out, but rumours persist that she's planning to reprise her character, Izzie Stevens, for a possible return to the show, and Brit Luddington, who will be in the thick of the story line if she does, is all for it.

Camilla, who plays Dr. Jo Karev - the wife of Izzie's ex - on the show told PeopleTV's Chatter live on Twitter: "I actually think it's kind of a fun idea... I just think it'd be juicy; it'd bring maybe a little bit of drama."

Heigl, who was part of the original Grey's cast, claimed she quit "Grey's Anatomy" to spend more time with her family.
