The star of 'Madagascar' film series will direct the film that revolves around a stay-at-home-dad who goes through a bitter divorce and custody battle against his CEO wife.

AceShowbiz - Chris Rock is preparing to step behind the camera again to direct Kevin Hart in a new film.

The comedian made his directorial debut on "Top Five" in 2014, and now he will take charge of forthcoming movie "Co-Parenting", which will be produced by Will Packer.

The film is based on an idea by Rock and Hart and will centre on a stay-at-home-dad who has to battle his chief executive officer (CEO) wife when she files for divorce.

The movie is being written by Yamara Taylor, with Rock and Hart also serving as producers under their respective companies Chris Rock Enterprises and Hartbeat Productions.

The project will reunite Hart with Packer after working together on the "Think Like a Man" and "Ride Along" franchises. They also collaborated on "The Wedding Ringer".
