The 'Sicko Mode' rapper is set to headline the festival held in New Orleans, Louisiana after the 'This Is America' rapper is forced to cancel his performance due to his foot injury.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Travis Scott (II) has stepped in to replace injured Childish Gambino at the 2018 Voodoo Music + Arts Experience later this week (ends October 28).

The "This Is America" hitmaker was scheduled to perform a headlining set in New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday, October 27, but he dropped out after injuring his foot at a concert in Dallas, Texas last month.

"Travis Scott is bringing (album) ASTROWORLD to New Orleans & headlining #VoodooFest on Saturday, 10/27," a festival representative wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, October 24. "Under doctor's orders Childish Gambino has been advised to continue recovery on his recent tour injury and will be forced to cancel his upcoming performance at the fest this weekend."

Following his injury, Gambino, real name Donald Glover, postponed his "This Is America Tour" and dropped out of the Austin City Limits Festival earlier this month. According to Billboard, he will resume his tour on December 2 in Nashville, Tennessee.
