'Arrow' star Stephen Amell shares yet another set photo from the TV event that serves the first look at Shipp in his '90s The Flash costume.

AceShowbiz - "Elseworlds" will see John Wesley Shipp reprising his role as The Flash. The original actor of the Scarlet Speedster a.k.a. Barry Allen in the 90s series is set to join The CW's The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl in the upcoming annual TV crossover event.

For fans who are curious about the team-up, "Arrow" star Stephen Amell shares yet another set photo from the TV event that serves the first look at Shipp in his '90s The Flash costume. Also featured in the set photo is Amell, who dons a Flash costume that looks noticeably different from what Shipp wears. Yes, you read it right, Amell is suiting up in The Flash costume.

Joining them posing on the street are Melissa Benoist's Supergirl and Grant Gustin, who looks great in Green Arrow costume. Previous set photos have been featuring Amell and Gustin swapping their costumes though fans are currently in the dark about the plot.

"No big deal. Just working with @JohnWesleyShipp for the first time. Nice of him to dress up for the occasion," Amell captions the snap.

Amell also shares a snap of him and Shipp together, twinning in The Flash suits. "Who said you should never meet your heroes?" he writes in the caption.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim is also excited to have Shipp in the crossover. Posting a photo of Shipp's '90s The Flash, he says, "After seven years, this just might be the coolest thing we've ever done..."

Shipp replies to the tweet, writing, "Something I SWORE I'd never do again. And I'm so glad I did."

Though the exact plot has yet to be revealed, "Elseworlds" crossover will introduce Gotham City and Batwoman (Ruby Rose) to the Arrowverse. Fans assume that it will take place on alternate universe that aligns with the comics. In the comics, Elseworlds was a DC Comics imprint for stories that take place outside of regular continuity. However, it remains to be seen how the crossover is going to pay homage to its name.

In the TV event, they will be joined by Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), a doctor at Arkham Asylum named Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davie), Nora Fries (Cassandra Jean Amell) and The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett).

This year's crossover is set to begin on Sunday, December 9 with "The Flash" at 8 P.M. It will later be followed by an "Arrow" episode on Monday, December 10 at 8 P.M. "Supergirl" will conclude on the following night at 8 P.M. on The CW.
