AceShowbiz - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is probably one of the hardest working and most ambitious actors in Hollywood. Known for his tough guy roles in many films like "The Scorpion King" and "The Fast and the Furious" franchise, the former wrestler manages to always stay positive and has set an example of good work ethic. Thus, his revelation of his struggles with depression came as a complete shock to many.
The 46-year-old star hit the lowest point when his injuries shattered his dreams of becoming a professional football player. He was let go from the Canadian Football League and, making matter worse, his then-girlfriend broke up with him. "I reached a point where I didn't want to do a thing or go anywhere," he told the Express. "I was crying constantly." Urging people to voice their own struggles, he said, "Took me a long time to realize it but the key is to not be afraid to open up."
