The estranged couple had a romantic dinner and enjoyed carriage ride to celebrate their three-year wedding anniversary after the former 'Jersey Shore' star filed for divorce.

AceShowbiz - Roger Mathews proved his vows to get Jenni "JWoww" Farley back after she filed for divorce from him last September. On Saturday night, October 13, Roger and JWoww enjoyed a very romantic dinner to celebrate their 3rd anniversary.

Taking to his Instagram account, Roger posted a photo of him and JWoww during their date night. They seemed so happy while rising a glass of red wine. Fine dishes on the table made their night totally complete. Roger captioned the photo with, "Rome wasn't built in a day," which hinted that he put really great effort to save his marriage to JWoww.

The celebration did not end there. Roger surprised JWoww with a horse-drawn carriage ride after the romantic dinner. In a video captioned with, "It all started with a smile," the couple walked toward the waiting carriage. "It is (sic) wait for us," said Roger to JWoww, who flashed a big smile.

JWoww was treated like a princess in a fairy tale, with Roger opening the carriage's door for her while saying, "Let me get the door for you, babe. Happy anniversary. These are for you." He gave JWoww a large bouquet of flowers to complete their sweet night.

JWoww and Roger started dating in 2010 after meeting in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. At that time, JWoww was filming the third season of "Jersey Shore". Then, they got engaged in September 2012 while filming the "Jersey Shore" spin-off, "Snooki & JWoww". They tied the knot in October 2015, after five years of dating. They welcomed their first child Meilani Alexandra Matthews on July 13, 2014 and their second child Greyson Valor Mathews on May 5, 2016.

Unfortunately, their love story was not as sweet as their Saturday night. JWoww filed for divorce from Roger on September 12. However, Roger did not give up on his marriage and vowed to get his wife back.

"I am not done fighting, I am gonna win my wife back. I am gonna win her affection back, I am gonna win her love back. I have no intention of being a single dad. We are in counseling so there is hope. It ain't over till the fat lady sings," Roger said in an Instagram video last month.
