While the 'Electric Love' singer had performed at the festival on weekend one, he won’t be returning for another week, a spokesman for the festival made the announcement on October 11.

AceShowbiz - Singer/songwriter BORNS has been dropped from the Austin City Limits festival following allegations of sexual misconduct.

The "Electric Love" singer, real name Garrett Borns, performed at the festival last weekend, but he won't be back for a scheduled gig on weekend two after multiple women accused him of grooming them for sex.

A spokesman for the Austin City Limits festival announced the decision on Thursday, October 11 via Twitter, writing: "Børns will no longer be performing at ACL Fest this weekend."

He was accused of sexual misconduct and predatory behaviour by multiple women last month.

Børns took to social media to deny the allegations stating, "All of the relationships I have had were legal and consensual. They ended abruptly and that obviously caused hurt feelings, but for anyone to suggest anything beyond that is irresponsible."

The singer has also been dropped from the Washington, D.C.-based music festival All Things Go Fall Classic.
