Addressing the leaking of tracks from her upcoming third album, the 'Boom Clap' singer claims she is 'at peace,' and is honored that fans are asking her for a proper release of several songs.

AceShowbiz - Charli XCX has joked that she has to change her computer password after tracks from her third album were leaked.

The "Boom Clap" singer was working on the follow-up to 2014's "Sucker" when the majority of the songs she had recorded for her third effort were leaked online late last year (17). But rather than dwell on the past, Charli has put the incident behind her and is looking forward to the future.

"I am at peace with it now," she told Britain's The Sun newspaper. "There are some songs that have been leaked that my fans really wanted a proper release for, like 'Girls Night Out' for example, and 'No Angel', so I honoured that... But I guess I've just got to change my password."

She added that fans hassle her about releasing "Round and Round" and "Taxi", songs that were leaked, properly, but she's not so sure.

Charli is still making new music but is in no rush to put out a third album after achieving success with mixtapes "Number 1 Angel" and "Pop 2", which she released last year.

"This is the music that I've always been trying to make. Until I met certain, specific collaborators I just didn't know how to make it," she explained. "So, I do feel extremely happy right now and I feel like I am making a difference when it comes to the way pop music is thought of and the sound of pop music... And that's really exciting for me. I feel super happy. I feel really, really good."

The 26-year-old has just released single "1999", a collaboration with Troye Sivan, and she admitted that she had been considering giving it away to another artist before the 23-year-old star suggested they do a duet.

"When he was like, 'I really want to do this song, let's do it together,' I was like, O.K. I have to keep it because if Troye loves it then I'm feeling it," she added.

The cover artwork shows the duo dressed up as characters from 1999 sci-fi film "The Matrix", and Charli has teased that the video will be filled many more pop culture references.
