AceShowbiz - Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo's lawyer has blasted German reports linking his client to rape allegations.
Der Spiegel magazine bosses have published a report naming woman, who allegedly came to a $375,000 (GBP287,000) settlement with the sportsman after accusing Ronaldo of assault.
"The reporting in Spiegel is blatantly illegal," the lawyer tells the BBC. "It's probably one of the most serious violations of personal rights in recent years."
Cristiano reportedly posted a now unavailable video, in which addressed the allegations, on Instagram.
"They want to promote (themselves) by (using) my name. It's normal," he allegedly said.
