Talking about her approach in dropping her baby weight, the younger sister of Kim Kardashian admits she is taking it slow to make sure the weight doesn't bounce back.

AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian is focused on enjoying motherhood rather than dropping her baby weight as quickly as possible.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star welcomed daughter True in April with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, and she lost 33 pounds in three months after giving birth by following a low carb diet and working out.

But in an interview with Us Weekly, Khloe shared that she is now taking a slow and steady approach to her fitness and diet plan so she can maintain the results in the long term.

"I'm still active, I still workout, but I'm not like 'I have to lose 50 pounds in two months' or whatever those expectations are," the "Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian" host revealed. "It's very normal to lose weight at a slow process. For me, that's how I lost all my weight before and how it stayed off."

Khloe admitted that previously her weight would fluctuate, because she would try faddy diets and always end up regaining the weight she had lost. But this time she is determined to do it the healthy way.

"I know that expression 'the turtle wins the race,' 'cause now I know, OK, let me lose it in a healthy way' so I keep it off, 'cause the last thing I want to do is yo-yo again in my life."

The 34-year-old hasn't yet reached her preferred weight, but the new mum said she feels fitness has to take a back seat to the demands of motherhood.

"I know that I just had a baby, I'm still really athletic, I'm still able to do all of these things," the "Strong Looks Better Naked" author added. "It's just not my top, top priority - health and fitness is one of my major priorities but I feel good not putting so much pressure on myself.

"I think society and, in this day and age, people show you these snap backs and you're just like, 'Oh, my God. How do they look like that in a week?' " she continued. "I'm actually really comfortable in my skin but still not comfortable enough where I want to stay here... I always like to improve but I'm doing it in my time."
