AceShowbiz - Actress Jaime King has been released from hospital after spending three days receiving treatment for injuries she sustained while filming TV show "Black Summer".
The "Sin City" star revealed she had been released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, September 26, by posting a selfie showing her giving a thumbs up to the camera, with her left thumb and hand wrapped in a bandage.
In the caption, she explained that she sustained "lots of broken and torn things" while shooting Netflix's upcoming zombie TV series "Black Summer", in which she plays the lead character Rose.
"Thumbs up! Finally released from the hospital after 3 nights. Lots of broken and torn things. Casts, slings, braces- oh, my!" she wrote. "#blacksummer is wrapped and Rose is forever in my heart. I would do anything for my character and for my cast and crew. Including getting busted the f**k up. Though, I prefer my body to be in one piece.
"I am so grateful to all of the doctors and nurses at Cedars. For Rachel, Suzzy, Brant, Ashley, Jason who helped shower me, dress me, get me safely to medical care. My cast for having my back -good looking out."
She continued by thanking "Black Summer" writer, director and producer John Hyams for "making something so beautiful under perilous circumstances" and Netflix executive Chris Regina for giving her "the role of my dreams".
She concluded by apologizing for any mistakes in her message, writing, "I can't use my hands so please excuse any grammatical or spelling errors or run on sentences."
In July, it was announced that the 39-year-old would star in Netflix's eight-part zombie thriller show, a spin-off from "Z Nation". She has been sharing behind-the-scenes snaps from the production, including a recent one which showed her face in special effects make-up to make it look like she was covered in a bloody cuts.
