Coming to Jimmy Falon's 'Tonight Show', the 'Hidden Figures' star also divulges details on how fiance Kelvin Hayden proposed to her and sets the record straight on pregnancy rumors.

AceShowbiz - Taraji P. Henson is considering surprising her family by getting married at a cookout.
The "Empire" actress began dating former American football player Kelvin Hayden in late 2015, and the couple got engaged in May.
Asked how her wedding plans were coming along during an interview on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday night, September 25, Taraji explained that she is looking to only invite her closest friends and family members and may even hold the nuptials at home.
"I don't want to be stressed," she said. "I was thinking, maybe we have a cookout and we go, 'Ding ding ding,' and people turn around and (they) are like, 'Oh, they're doing (the wedding) now.' But I know my mom and everybody wants the wedding... it's going to be small, very private."
During the chat, host Jimmy asked Taraji about the way in which Kelvin proposed, and she divulged that he had brought her to the restaurant where they had their first date on the pretence of celebrating their friend 'Fat Mouth' Ronald's birthday.
"I had no idea, because he gave me the love bracelet first," the 48-year-old insisted, gesturing to her Cartier bangle. "So I get back in the back room and there's a violinist playing Adorn by Miguel, which is one of our favourite songs, and I go, 'When has Fat Mouth been into instruments?' I turn around and I see a photographer, and I'm like, 'This doesn't seem right.' And I turn around again and he's already down on one knee. And of course, I'm crying and gushing, my lashes come off, they look like a spider on the floor. And then the rest is history. But he got me good."
In addition, Taraji took the opportunity to clear up pregnancy rumours which were sparked after a tabloid reported that Kelvin was "coddling" her during a day out at the U.S. Open earlier this month.
The What Men Want star, who is mother to an adult son named Marcell, emphasised that she is not expecting again and shared that her beau is simply a "romantic guy."
"I'm not pregnant," she smiled. "He takes care of me like that. That's why I'm marrying him. I was drinking a wine spritzer."
