AceShowbiz - Fans of Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) who are preparing to go to the remaining dates of his "This Is America" tour have to wait a little bit more until they can watch the star perform onstage. It has been announced that the rapper and actor will not be performing on the scheduled gigs due to foot injury.

Fam Rothstein, a co-principal of the creative agency Wolf + Rothstein, revealed the news after The Forum tweeted that Gambino's show at the Forum had been postponed. "This is America tour is postponed, not cancelled. My guy played through the pain, but has to sit some dates out," he wrote on the micro-blogging site, revealing that the tour will be resumed before the end of the year. "Back before the years over."

The news arrives after Gambino was forced to cut short his Dallas concert on Sunday night, September 23 due to a foot injury. The "Atlanta" creator was said to leave the American Airlines Center stage 30 minuted before his show was due to end and didn't return. An official at the venue told TMZ that Gambino "broke his foot," while one concertgoer said that he was attempting to do the splits and hurt himself in the process.

Gambino was initially scheduled to wrap "This Is America" tour at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on October 12. It remains unclear now when the tour will be concluded. It is also not known whether or not guest acts Vince Staples and Rae Sremmurd will appear on the rescheduled shows.

"This Is America" tour will be his last tour as Childish Gambino. Announcing the news during his New York show on September 14, the "Solo: A Star Wars Story" star said, "If you bought a ticket to this concert, that means you bought a ticket to the last Childish Gambino tour ever. You don't need to record this s**t. This is that moment. This is not a concert. This is church."
